Vehicle lighting & LED upgrades

A blown bulb is a five-minute fix. Dim, yellowed headlights on dark rural roads, or wanting a proper LED upgrade done without frying your indicators, is a slightly bigger conversation — either way, we can sort it.
Signs you need this
- A headlight, tail light or indicator has stopped working
- Headlights look dim or yellowed compared to when new
- Indicator flashes too fast after a bulb change (classic LED symptom)
- Considering an LED upgrade for better night visibility
- A light housing has moisture or fogging inside it
What we do
Simple bulb and globe replacements are quick, in-and-out jobs. LED upgrades are wired correctly for the vehicle’s existing circuit — including load resistors where needed — so indicators don’t flash too fast and dashboard warnings don’t light up incorrectly, which is the most common result of a badly fitted LED kit.
What it costs
A bulb or globe swap is a small, quick job. LED upgrades vary by vehicle and kit — we’ll estimate before fitting anything.

Questions
- Can I just get a bulb replaced without booking a big appointment?
- Yes — bulb and globe replacements are quick jobs, bookable as a short slot.
- Why do my indicators flash fast after an LED upgrade?
- LEDs draw less current than the old bulbs, which confuses the flasher relay into thinking a bulb has blown. It’s fixable with the right wiring.
- Are LED upgrades legal for road use?
- Depends on the light and how it’s fitted — we can talk you through what’s appropriate.
