What we collect
When you send us an enquiry, we collect what you give us — your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, and a description of the problem.
If you agree to cookies, we also collect basic information about how the site is used — which pages you visit, roughly where in the country you are, and whether you tapped a phone number or sent an enquiry. None of that identifies you by name.
If you decline, we still count visits, but without cookies and without anything that could be tied back to you or your device.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange a time to bring your vehicle in, carry out the work you’ve asked for, and contact you about it.
With your separate consent, we may also use your contact details to send you occasional updates — you can opt out of these at any time.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website: Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (sending enquiry emails). These providers only process your information to deliver their service to us — they don’t use it for their own purposes.
If you agree to cookies, usage data is also shared with Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising) so we can tell which of our advertising actually brings people in. Where we tell Meta that an enquiry came in, your email address and phone number are converted into a scrambled code first — we never send the real ones.
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the “Cookie choice” link at the bottom of any page.
We don’t sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we reasonably need them for your vehicle’s service history and to meet our legal and tax obligations — normally seven years.
Website usage data held by Google and Meta is kept according to their own retention settings, which we set to the shortest period each platform allows.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it. To do this, contact us using the details below.

If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.
